EEEWWW.

But keep on protesting, and keep on talking, right wing. The more you try to protect Mr. "Legitimate Rape" the more you show your true colors, and the more women realize you don't give a single damn about them except as walking incubators.

In the past 24 hours I've joined NOW, donated to the DCCC and the Human Rights Campaign, and bought a Trust Women, Protect Choice t-shirt. If the aim of Republicans was to get me off my ass and join the fight, well, they succeeded!

They compare the GOP establishment trying to distance themselves from Akin to rape and think so little of women in general that they believe there's millions of people who will lie about being raped to get an abortion. these people and their movement are absolutely evil.

Well, I think if abortion were made illegal except in cases of rape, there *would* be a lot of women forced to claim they were raped in order to get a safe abortion. But the decent-human-being response to that is not to say "So we make all abortions illegal!" A decent human being would think "Hmm, maybe if women would be forced to take such drastic measures that's a sign that making it illegal at all is a Bad Idea."
