unfortunately, most American's are so lazy about becoming informed/racist/don't care that I am honestly terrified about November. Not only with Repubs be insufferable if they win, I shiver to think about how much worse it will get

gurl, calm yourself down by taking a look at Nate Silver's electoral map/statistical models. Not saying to get complacent, but the electoral math doesn't look good for Mittens at the moment.

my mom and I were cackling on the phone this morning over the Ryan pick. as a Democrat, I'm pleased. Pandering to the base in an attempt to distract away from Romney's problems is not the way to get the electoral map in your favor. I think choosing Ryan made Romney kiss Florida goodbye.

Politically speaking, the Democrats will spin Ryan's Plan to scare today's seniors. BUT his plan really affects all of us under 55. We would be the ones under his voucher system.

I'm over this Ayn Rand nonsense. Her philosophy blatantly violates the Preamble of the Constitution. Oh, and she received social security and medicare.

Very interesting.

I'm tired of this regurgitated Ayn Rand stuff, too. I wonder if the Tea Party/Republicans know she was Atheist and eventually got tired of conservatives.

Paul Ryan, a Catholic, had that brought to his attention about Rand dismissing the fundamentals of Jesus. He backtracked and said he rejected her atheist philosophy and preferred St. Thomas Aquinas. Rand's writings intrigued him when he was young, but now he is wiser.

Convenient, lol! I'm surprised he needed that pointed out to him. Her Atheism is very obvious in her books.

But, then again, these types cherry pick their beliefs from the bible.
