:( poor baby, I'm sorry for the officer too because this seems accidental and I'm sure this is the last thing on earth he wanted. Poor baby boo though. May he rest in peace ♥

What a beautiful, beautiful dog. This is just so horrific for all involved. I had heatstroke last week and it was horrible. My heart goes out to that poor baby.

Poor thing :(

I read an article awhile back- don't remember if it was posted here- profiling people whose children died after being left in hot cars. They didn't abandon the kids there intentionally- they were running late, off their normal routine, had a million things on their mind, and that one crucial thing just slipped. I'm sure the dog's handler feels awful.

The Gene Weingarten article from a year or two back? I don't know if it was posted here, but that was a gut-wrenching one.

I've read that article... I've always wished that more people would read it and listen, because it helps you understand how things like that can happen.

Angry doesn't begin to describe how I feel about this right now.

But who are you angry at? Didn't seem intentional.

Would you leave a baby in a car for that long? nope.

Idgaf, it was at LEAST negligence.

Actually, yeah. Some people do leave a baby in a car for that long.
