And who told him to put the video on facebook? I can buy that he turned the camera on because he was told to and panicked in the heat of the moment- I mean, I'm not saying that that's what happened, but I can buy it. Posting it to Facebook, though? That takes afterthought and EFFORT. It's not something you do on the spur of the moment.

I thought it was posted on Youtube and then the news outlets took the liberty to post on FB.

IIRC someone *found* it on FB, then posted it on YT, and it went nuts from there.

how old are these kids supposed to be?
and how the hell did it get on facebook with out the kids parents seeing it?

it might just be that all the parents i know who have kids under the age of 18 have their kids friended, and that outside of the people i know no one does it... but it just seems off to me.

Seriously. These kids are little assholes but the idea they should be apologizing in public is INSANE. They fucked up and need to be punished but we are still talking about teenagers. (young teenagers too)

Also the reason they haven't apologized to her face is because she doesn't want that. It was offered.

These kids are little scumbags but I can't think that they're irredeemable and should have their lives ruined over this. That's not teaching them anything.

Um. What?

There should not be a public apology. What is to be gained from that? All that will happen is that their names become public.

I don't understand why this is news worthy. Humans, particuarly children, are horrible monsters in packs. And if they had a bus monitor that means that they were ALREADY acting so horrible that they needed more supervision than just the bus driver.

Did the woman deserve it? No. Should the kids apologize? Yes, even though I really doubt that they are actually repentant and just saying the words. But I'm not SURPRISED at all.

Nor am I surprised that the kids are getting death threats, because people in packs are horrible monsters.
