I am predicting that the "official" response will make some kind of comment about how women are "too emotional" or "overly sensitive".

Ooo, Ooo! Or maybe "sorry if you got offended".

it's amazing how common that mess is. 'if you got offended' = 'you're wrong to feel that way'
Why the hell can't people just say, "I'm sorry that I offended you." Even while that doesn't cover demonstrating understanding of what one did wrong and why it was wrong, at least it would show acceptance of having actually done something wrong instead of foisting it on the victim

EYEBROWS VERY HIGH ON MY FOREHEAD RIGHT NOW

All the heaping sexism, and a joke about her needing a shower? Fan-fuckin'-tastic!

I originally read that as her quite understandably saying she needed a shower. That just adds a new level of creepy to the whole fucking thing.

Oh my god. Kudos to her for just walking off set; I think I would've punched him. Physical violence is not cool but I don't think I would've been able to restrain myself. What a dick.

Me too. Quite a lot, these days.

I also hate a woman who makes gobs of money promoting fear and bigotry on Fox. I'm torn between admiration for her walk-off -- I know of several media types who would have laughed it off and played along -- and satisfaction that she got a dose of the shit she's been handing out to people lower on the totem pole than her.

Wow, that was a poorly constructed couple of sentences.

Men on Fox News, all douche, all the time. According to his wiki page, he's also racist and a huge Islamophobe/bigot.

I bet they have required fields on Fox News job application asking whether they're huge right-wing, misogynistic douchebags.
