Ottawa girls, 15, face human-trafficking charges; teens lured to prostitution

OTTAWA - Police in Ottawa are calling a case in which two 15-year-old girls are charged with human trafficking "shocking."

They say they have never seen anything like it before, and say neither have their counterparts across the country.

Police allege that on three separate occasions, the girls lured three female victims ranging from 13 to 17 years

in ontario you can get yours learners permit at 16, if you take drivers ed, you can get your g2 in less than a year, and that allows you to drive without an adult. its also possible that they didn't have their full liscence, but knew how to drive, i mean if your willing to sell other people into prostitution then you probably don't care too much about the legality of the driver.

i could totally see a bunch of the girls i went to high school with pulling something like this.

just because people are young doesn't mean they can't be completely horrible.

the line that slays me is the line about no pimps or men being involved.

teenage. female. pimps.

and yeah, I could totally see some social-pressure peer pressure thing gone horribly wrong; but it's not really that surprising to me, having once been a teenager myself, not to mention years of teaching high school and observing the pack mentality that arises there.

But this sucks. Those poor girls...!

High School Pack Mentality is awful. I witnessed that first hand (I was the reluctant one, if you can even call it that)

And hearing that these girls did this to girls that were younger, equal in age, and older is, I don't even have the ability to form words. I am throughly disgusted though.
