I really like reading about all the random stuff that's been washing up around here. I think it's fascinating, and it also sort of makes the tsunami seem far more real to those of us who didn't experience it. You can see images on the news, but when debris starts washing up, that adds an entirely different level of perspective on the fury of it all.
i was wondering if any of the species that crossed the ocean on it would have been deemed invasive species and what they would do.
i was really surprised that there was still a star fish, but holy frick there were crabs still? i kind of expected anything that wasn't like clams or mussels would have been swept off in the violence of the tsunami.

...What the hell did I just read? Revenge from the Japanese? It's just part of the debris that is BOUND to come up ashore o_O
Aside from that, Mother Nature is badass in showing how strong currents can push even something as heavy as a dock.
