If Obama had been honest from the start, I could be more for this, but... no. Just no.

You make it sound like he was lying the whole time

He indirectly made it clear he was for gay marriage in the past and to be fair he was been working towards making things better slowly but surely.

It's really not that easy for a politician to come out do what he has been doing.

Officially-speaking, he kind of was. But that's politics and I don't like it, but I understand why it was a good idea.

But I don't have to be happy, let alone okay, with marketing it like this.

What if he WAS being honest in 2008 when he said "I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. For me as a Christian, it is a sacred union. You know, God is in the mix." ... and he's NOT being honest now?

The items include “I'm out for Obama" T-shirts, beer koozies that read "LGBT for Obama" and even baby onesies with messages like "My two moms support Obama.” The items cost anywhere from $10 to $40.

This is a little crass. Especially since his support of gay marriage is limited to a "personal opinion" that won't actually change anything...

My GOODNESS the marketing and production teams work FAST, given that this JUST happened.

And that's all I'm saying.
