I love my city.

Some perspective - SNP-Lib Dem run council put the city into an extreme amount of debt over the trams fiasco as well as messing with the buses, childcare, care for the elderly and general incompetence. They were always going to be hit pretty hard in Edinburgh this year but even I didn't expect the penguin. Then again, I'm a Labour member and the city went red so I'm happy.

Sadly the good Professor wasn't in my district anyway, but I'm very happy with the result. Plus after his cowardice on tuition fees, watching Simon Hughes squirm when Kirsty Wark on Newsnight said "You lost to a penguin in Edinburgh" made me oh so joyous. I think I need that as a ring-tone.

That's excellent.

Snarky text-based ringtones are the best. I'm attempting to get Beast Wars Megatron saying "Autobots suck at golf," personally, but "you lost to a penguin in Edinburgh" is very, very win.
