(CNN) -- Mississippi lawmakers passed a bill Wednesday that would require any physician performing abortions in the state to be a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and to have admitting privileges at an area hospital.

The bill "should effectively close the only abortion clinic in Mississippi," said Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves in a statement. "This ( Read more... )

Oh, for fuck's sake. This is just... *seethes*

There are days when I do think that it's just a matter of time before abortion in the US is impossible - it'll still be 'legal', but it won't be something women have access to. The men in power don't care. They're too busy fighting to save the ~precious fetuses~ to care that they are degrading, controlling and killing women. I guess it's all worth it in their eyes.

Oh my god, this is sort of related, but I just opened up my facebook and saw that some girl had taken a picture of a patient at her work's uh...like the questionnaire they give new patients to ask about their medical history.

She wrote "Seen at work... The solution, it's called condoms." Because the patient in question had had 3 abortions.

I'm so fucking...I cannot describe how I feel rn, this person isn't on my friendslist, and I don't know where she works because I would be fucking calling that place up asap because beyond the gross slut shaming it is FUCKING UNETHICAL and she knows it, despite the fact that "you can't see who I'm talking about. BOOM." comment of hers.

I don't know what to do right now.

Yeah, friend of a friend - I only saw it because he commented on her post (they're now joking ugh I am blank staring) but she doesn't have her last name posted.

I do know she is a dentist or a dentistry student, because she posted about the ODQ. But I know that even if I call them up, without knowing even her full name they probably won't do shit. ):

If it's a small practice - hell, even if it's a big one - they might be able to do a lot from just her first name. Screencap the Facebook post and image, and call them. Tell them that you think one of their staff has grossly violated HIPPA laws and that you can email them proof.

What a disgusting person :\ them, I mean, just, omg.
