Justice needs to be reached for those 16 people murdered in cold blood. I don't care if they're the 'damn dirty arabs,' or whatever the fuck. These were children and women and civilian men. One of those kids could have been a future leader, one of them could have brought peace to the area or cured a disease, or bring about a change in how people live their lives over there.

Their future will never be realized because someone 'snapped' and thought it was a great idea to go out into the villages and shoot people up. I understand that TBI's are bad and it could have been a major factor as to why this man did what he did. But it doesn't excuse it.

My coworker's brother is now unresponsive after a rocket hit his humvee in Afghanistan last week, killing the driver. He has a TBI and might not ever wake up. So fuck you government.

These men and women need to come back NOW.

You know what.

Hundreds of thousands of people have PTSD and/or TBIs. They do not kill 16 men, women and children and then set their bodies on fire.

Many people go through really horrible financial hard times. We do not get to murder ANYONE because we're stressed out about it.

And tbh, all this hand wringing over PTSD and TBI and the assumptions by the media that people are going to become mass murderers because they have one or the other or both, is creating a fucking negative stigma that needs to stop. How is that going to get anyone potentially suffering from these conditions to get help? It's already hard enough as it is to seek help for mental illness. Never mind the fact that there is no evidence supporting that people with PTSD and/or TBI are more likely to go on mass murder sprees.

If an afghani man killed 16 USA citizens, there would be none of these rationalizations.
