An agreement in 1995 was supposed to ban the practice of baptizing by proxy Holocaust victims, after it was discovered the names of hundreds of thousands of those who died had been entered into Mormon records.

Here's an idea, how about we just stop this practice altogether FOR EVERYONE BUT PEOPLE ACTUALLY IN YOUR CHURCH.

from what I know they don't actually go to the graves to baptize, they do it by proxy

Yeah, they just use a scrap of paper with the name on it, according to a friend of mine who had been an LDS member and had performed proxy baptisms.

I believe they are still permitted to baptize Holocaust victims if they are a relative of theirs. Its really disgusting and disrespectful considering that these are people who died specifically because of their religious affiliation.
