Observers fear the bomb attacks in Thailand, India and Georgia are the latest acts in a covert war between Israel and Iran over the Islamic republic's nuclear ambitions.

Is it really covert though?

There's definitely rhetoric and action around this that seems we could be bracing for war.

Iran behind Thailand's attack? That's as likely as telling me that bombs can have expiry dates.

Pretty cool how a lot of the US media is just regurgitating what Ehud Barak is claiming with zero analysis of how true such a claim actually is.

blew off the legs of the alleged bomber - an Iranian national who was fleeing police when the grenade slipped through his hands and detonated next to him.

When police tried to stop the man, he threw another grenade at them, which local media reported as bouncing off a tree and detonating in front of him.

lol Guardian. You can tell more than one person worked on the piece and one of them was determined to downplay the incident.

yes this escalation is worrying; rather, i wonder if Israel would not a pre-emptive strike on iran.

Yeh, definitely; moreso, you can sign the treaty, get nuclear info and such, and then just back out of it -like North Korea did. It is flimsy.

Even more hypocrisy: as the US jumps about Iran developing nuclear weapons they are happily cashing in their cheques from selling other highly destructive war technology across the planet.
