I just can't even with these people. A bunch of clips along these lines were running during the news feed I usually watch while getting ready for work, and I had to turn it off because I was putting too much energy towards screaming at people who can't hear me and not enough into combing my hair. :/

But I am just so goddamn sick of women's bodies being pawn, hostage, and battlefield all at the same time. I don't even know what to do with all the anger I'm feeling, that these fucking men who don't know me think they have a right to say what goes on in my internal organs. It's so creepy and disgusting on such a visceral level to me.

The first sign of the new assault came last October, when Mississippi activists and congressional Republicans pushed legislation on the state and federal level, respectively, that would have treated zygotes-a.k.a. fertilized human eggs-as legal "persons."

I feel like it's worth pointing out that, no, this was not the first shot across the bow. This started in Colorado in 2008.

I hope that them widening their attack to birth control will help the liberal side push back for women's rights in a more substantial way.
