Quake Rattles Western Indonesia

Jakarta, Indonesia (CNN) -- A magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck off the west coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra, the U.S. Geological Survey reported, but witnesses reported only minor shaking on land.

I'm really glad no one is hurt (as far as they can tell) and that they're safe. Earthquakes are hella scary.

Earthquakes are quite scary. I think I remember Japan had one that wasn't too bad on January 1st. No one injured or anything, but I was like "O_o Sheez. Can't even get a break for shougatsu?"
