Diane Abbott sparks another Twitter race row after branding taxi drivers as racist

Labour Party chiefs were today looking into a second controversial tweet from MP Diane Abbott after she suggested London cabbies drive past black customers.

Many taxi drivers across the capital were fuming after details of the new gaffe by Britain's first black woman MP, who is shadow health minister, was revealed.

Yeah, I started counting things wrong with this article, and then by 1/3 in when I got to 'I talked to a black guy and he agrees we're not racist!' I gave up.

Because by saying black people experience racism she's implying that white people are racist! WHICH IS REALLY RACIST OF HER AGAINST WHITE PEOPLE OKAY.~

I agree that she shouldn't need to apologise for her first tweet. But not every white person is racist. It's something of a worrying generalisation that isn't particularly effective in countering the very real and existent racism in certain sects of society and government, as shown in the recent Lawrence inquiry findings.
