Poor guy... joining a 'values-based' organization-- it is comforting to know that people with values have guns and bombers and and have been shooting people up in Af/Ir for the past decade fairly, without any systematic racialized and neo-imperialist underpinnings advocated straight up and down the chain of command.

The court martial should be moved to the US but probably won't, unfortunately, because the military has a history of protecting it's worst and most downright evil as opposed to properly punishing them. I am so sorry for his family :(

Seriously disgusting. Hopefully these assholes get what's coming to them. My husband had an NCO like this. He would force guys to sit and do guard in a trash can if they even looked at him. He would force two guys to hold hands while everyone laughed at them. It went on and on. He moved to a different unit (after being promoted and being told how great he was) and hopefully someone will set him straight there.
