You know, Ron, if you're big in the media for approving racist material in your newsletters, you may want to offset that by not being coy with your white supremacist supporters. As a matter of fact, one might say that telling them to fuck off would hugely help people believe that you aren't the most outwardly racist candidate in the race here.

As a guy being reamed by the media for those racist newsletters, you should probably go out on a limb, and be against this. Newty did it, and you can, too! Especially since you seem to think "the blacks" totally like you. I think white supremacists and all those votes you think will come from "the blacks", would be a conflict of interest. =\

I don't mean to be crass about his age, but Ron Paul is 76 years-old. Surely this year will be the last time he mounts a fruitless, borderline farcical presidential campaign.

Puleez! Ron Paul is a racist, sexist, anti-semetic douchecanoe. He's not going to denounce people who pretty much believe exactly what he believes. He just puts a pretty shiny coating on it and knows most people will not scratch beneath the surface. He couches his hatred in cries of "free market" (for men and whites and straight folks of course) knowing full well that its nothing more than a code for white straight men sticking together and sticking to anyone who isn't like them.

Want to discriminate against POC? Fine by him, if that's the way the market rolls. Want to deny GBLT employment and housing protections, fine by him - let the free market sort it out. The 'free market' works great if you are the majority and have the power, if you're not, well too bad according to Ron Paul.

EXTREME Ron Paul is X-TREME!

Further, from the article:

At a campaign stop in this small city of about 7,000, Paul told breast cancer survivor Danielle Lin that insurance companies should not be required to offer coverage to people who are already sick.

"It's sort of like me living on the Gulf Coast, not buying insurance until I see the hurricane," said Paul, whose Galveston-based district was devastated by a hurricane in 2008. "Insurance is supposed to measure risk."

The response left Lin in tears. While her insurance covered her treatment, she said, several of her friends were not so fortunate.

"I watched three friends die because they didn't have insurance," said Lin, a registered Democrat who is looking for a Republican candidate to support this time.

"Nobody can afford private insurance, nobody can. And they're dead."What they didn't mention was that Paul probably chortled heartily, saying "That's government control for you, telling you that medicine by doctors works! You should have tried some superfoods from my friend ( ... )

"Insurance should not be required to insure people who are already sick."

What a vile little toad you are, Ron Paul. You're actually making new Gingrich look like someone respectful to women. After all, he only divorced his wife when she had cancer, you essentially told a woman that if it were up to you and your free market principles, she'd die from not having insurance for her cancer. Bonus points as you are a physician.

I can't decide if this is Compassionate Conservatism or Loving Libertarianism.
