LJ Turns On Automatic Payments for Paid Users

Modly Overseers, I know this is not exactly political, but since so many users are paid and might miss this otherwise it could be important. Please allow this through?

LJ has (due either to glitches from the recent 'upgrade' to the system or intentionally) set it so some paid users accounts have been switched to AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS where they were

They've apparently added the edit option for everybody, though, in lieu of the preview... which is nice I guess? I am too poor to be outraged about paid accounts. I imagine they think it is more convenient that way, and it is how most websites run subscriptions.

That's nice that they did that, but I suspect they will lose a LOT of paid subscribers who subscribed to have the ability to edit.

Having a bunch of icons is a pain in the ass with the new comment system, though, so that's not really much of a reason anymore either.

Yep, found out mine was turned on yesterday. Would have gotten a nasty surprise in March if I hadn't gotten the tipoff.

Go to your account management page, it should be pretty easy to tell from there. :)
