He's talking to douchebros who would dismiss an article written by a woman simply because she is a woman. It's disappointing and enraging, but it is a fact that male allies are necessary to get through to men like that.

Like, I understand your rage because it sucks that this is a necessary thing? But that doesn't change the fact that it's a necessary thing.
