That was very interesting to read.

I have to wonder though, where does her 80% approval rating come from? I've heard that so many times when people are defending her. I understand that there are more Alaskans than were at the rally but do they really make up that small of a portion? And I know Alaska is usually a red state so is it just because she's republican?

She gives the citizens oil money like more than a thousand dollars a year.

Yup. They don't have sales or income tax. They tax the oil companies, and what's not needed for running the government is passed on to the citizens. Of course the oil companies pass on the tax cost somewhere, which means someone is paying that bill. Or a lot of someones in the lower 48.
