Holy shit, that's offensive. IA with the above commenters--it might have been funny as a macro, but what in the world would make him think it was a good idea to hand it out in all seriousness? And the fact that someone like that is a guidance counsellor just pisses me right off. Someone lacking basic sense and compassion has no business talking to teenagers when they need sense and compassion the most.

Ugh more of a reason why I want to be a teacher. In my one field experience this semester, I had a teacher say that one of the students who has an aide should be "institutionalized" and another one scoff when I mentioned my other field experience, which is an all black school with an afro-centric curriculum.
