Agreed! Maybe they could team up with We've Got Time To Help or something like it.

Alright, now this is a great use of OWS, and I'd like to see other cities take note. People of color, the working poor are still on the fringes of this movement. This is a good first step to getting OWS to genuinely reflect the 99 percent.

So she said she went down to Zuccotti Park, home base for the Occupy Wall Street protests, and recruited activists.

"I saw all of these young children that had real skill and ability," she said. "I said to them, 'We're done with all the massaging and intellectualizing. What's next? If you really want to see what's really going on, [follow me],'" she recalled telling the protesters at a General Assembly. "It's time for action."

All hands went up and were wiggling, she said, the sign of agreement at Occupy Wall Street.

This is such a cool concept. The idea that if you have a problem, you can grab a bunch of OWS protesters to target your specific issue. Like free grassroots lobbyists or something.

They should have a OWS hotline and send protesters around the country to people like Dr. Blakely who need help.

My favorite part:

On Shabaka’s first day at Occupy Atlanta he approached a group of folks doing an impromptu free style session and saw Sherrod. "I saw him in the park, saw his colors. There was no mean mug or rivalry because we realized that what's happening here is so much bigger then gang rivalry", stated Shabaka.
