Yes, you pretty much do lose your right to free speech when you walk through the schoolhouse door just like you lose it when you walk into the workplace. Better get used to it.
Omfg, I hate the glorification of honors students. I was an honors student, but they're capable of the same stupid shit that all teens pull. Honors student =/= a good person, and some people forget that fact.
tbh even if he is telling the truth, and if he even WHISPERED his opinion to his friend and friend alone, idgaf that he was punished. Good. No free passes for bigotry.
