Oh how my heart bleeds for Batista supporters and CIA agents.

How does CIA skulduggery excuse the fact that this man's father was essentially murdered by Castro in a perverse and sadistic way?

His father was a capitalist supporter of the Batista dictatorship. It needs no more excuse than aristocrats killed in the French Revolution.

The guy was told to kill himself to save his sons from execution.

How does a US court even have any say when it comes to telling the Cuban government to do anything? Idgi. Sounds like it's a feel good ruling that won't result in anything.

I'm suspicious of most US news about Cuba because of 1) the CIA involvement and 2) I'm not terribly interested in the suffering of disposed aristocrats and their children.

I look forward to visiting Cuba as soon as I win the lottery.

Huh, this hits kind of close to home. I recently found out that my grandmother and my uncle were wanted by the Castro regime and were nearly murdered, and several of my grandmother's classmates were gunned down on campus of the university at Havana.

It's kind of weird realizing I know that judge though.

Not that this ruling will do anything, just like when a US court found against Cuba after fighter pilots shot down Brothers to the Rescue civilians.
