Something about this really makes my eye twitch. Really, flashbacks & PTSD for those poor, poor investors? Was it really fucking terrible for you, rich guys? Lose your house? Lose your job? Not qualify for unemployment? Watching your unemployment run out? No? Then fuck you, Wall Street assholes. Ugh.

I think you buy them on August 2nd, if somebody keeps the debt payments up. Because stocks will have dropped due to selling by wary investors who worry about the Republicans crashing the economy for principle. Except that they might have instead gone UP because of European investors jumping to a ship that's sinking slightly more slowly than the one they're currently on.

It's the stock market, after all; if it's partially set up like a pyramid scheme, it's also set up like that game with the ping-pong balls plinking down through a pinboard---all these variables, gotta keep guessing.

I can't do anything about this, so I've kind of been averting my eyes. It's too grotesque and wrong to think about too much before wanting to break something or scream.

the thing that gets me is that the republicans are playing the most extreme game of chicken we've seen with the economy in awhile and nearly have the voting population in america will still vote for them next year.

is this because schools aren't getting funded so we're keeping our population good and dumb or the bullshit american dream?
whatever the reason is, I'm really starting to hate americans
