Just still feeling epically sorry for the Browns in all this.

(I STILL LOVE YOU GORDON!)

I don't think that's even a temper, too much, just reasonable anger imo/
so I agree with you basically ;)

I would have punched that reporter out, I'm only 2 mins in and he's annoying me :(

How/why would another parent of a child with cystic fibrosis know about Fraser Brown? The only people with access to F. Brown's medical details are his medical staff and parents, so either the Browns told you (which they didn't) or the doctors breached patient confidentiality (which is illegal). Am I missing something? Only I don't understand their explanation.

I met James and Fraser Brown once - really lovely boys. James was especially chatty! I love little kids...

Well, IDK if it's this way in the UK, but in the US there are units focusing just on cystic fibrosis at certain hospitals. If Gordon Brown had his son at such a place, it wouldn't be for an ear infection.

Edit to add: I do still, of course, think there's plenty of evidence for unethical, even criminal behavior on the part of the newspaper... an actual parent of another child with CF would, I hope, have enough empathy to not spread around the news.

This. And if somebody did find out - the first thing they did was call some tabloid? Classy. Apparently he wanted to raise awareness for the condition, but using another family's child - without getting their consent first - to do that is just tacky, to put it lightly.
