I had to stop that video two-thirds of the way in because it was either that or I was going to beat my laptop to pieces in lieu of punching him repeatedly in the balls.

it's like he's operating under the impression that everyone is fully on board with the moral code of conduct on Fleet Street. Delusional.

but that's the beauty of it, if you tell yourself that "everyone was doing it" to justify your own moral conduct, it is only a matter of time before you start to believe in your own lies to the point that it spirals you into madness without realizing that you have become delusional in your own fabricated lies. This is why certain individuals create their own folly, of course who is to say there is no grain of truth in that but the "Everyone was doing it" defense hardly works anyway.

It is the most entertaining scandal ever, and no misery involved! (except for News Corp execs)

and no misery involved! evildevil July 9 2011, 18:38:11 UTC
hardly, the victims of the phone hacking will disagree. The more we learn about it, the more painful it becomes for the victims and the more infuriating for the public. No scandal is a victimless scandal, but I do agree that these bastards will feel the public scorn.

Of course, the victims and their families :(

I suppose I was thinking about those that the press coverage has been focussed upon.
