I say this becomes a new game: every time the term "political correctness" is used to mean "how dare we give minorities attention," take a shot (half a shot if they use "PC," since if they're going to be lazy about it we might as well be too ;P).

my mom pulled the ~white history month~ thing the other day. unfortunately, i was unable to construct a good rebuttal due to my sputtery rage.

which is kind of the story of my life when it comes to talking about politics, rights, etc.

Aside from the fact that teaching kids that being gay is all right is GREAT, I don't understand people's insistence that SpongeBob is gay and teaches kids that being gay is okay. Sure he's a bit effeminate, but there's absolutely no indication that he's gay on the show. And he's a sponge.
