New Jersey Senate president calls Gov. Christie ‘a rotten prick’
A week ago, the president of the New Jersey Senate, Democrat Stephen Sweeney, stuck his neck out to help Republican Governor Chris Christie pass a union-busting bill, leading to accusations that Democratic Party power brokers were selling out their constituents. Too bad he didn't realize this before he sold the unions down the river. But better late than never, I guess.

YES, SERIOUSLY.

This all makes me want to cry. I hate everyone who voted for Christie.

SRSLY

My mom is a former educator who, like many others who've been working for decades, found herself forced with the hard choice to retire thanks to Christie's bullshit.

A teacher in her school worked on his campaign and was even featured in one of his commercial ads.

She had the nerve to complain once he started to enact his policies.

I -can't stand- some people.

Ugh, why is it always like this? Dems bend over backward to be 'bipartisan' then the Republicans take them to the cleaners.

You'd think that the Dems would figure out by now that the Republicans aren't their bestest buddies and can't be trusted. It strains credibility that otherwise savvy political types are constantly surprised that the Republicans do them dirty.
It's like their house crest reads: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...well let's see how the third, fourth and fifth time go.."
What? NO.

I keep getting the feeling that Dems do a decent job legislating but are real shitty at actual -politicking-.

It's shocking that a governor who stripped public employees of their benefits would do other shady pro business things.

"Pro-business" should be Christie's middle name.
