World's oceans in 'shocking' decline

The oceans are in a worse state than previously suspected, according to an expert panel of scientists.

I was reading about the acidification of the oceans last week. :( The industrialized nations need to decide they care, I guess.

The relatively quick recovery of air quality gives me hope, probably because I saw it happen. But I'm sure they're not comparable scientifically. Still, it lets me get up in the morning.

I've been told that if we stopped dumping CO2 into the air, the levels would drop like a stone because of how efficient plants are at removing the stuff. It'd only take like 10 years, or so I've been told.
