I don't hate it! It means we have a pretty robust media, that can lampoon and satirise without fear of reprisal. I mean, I get what you're saying, but if our comedians are scared to play the jester to expose the king, then who else will take up the mantle?

I'm glad that The Onion, and Stewart, and all those comedians can exist. But I find it disappointing that only The Onion addresses the fact that even as we cover the recovery of Gaby Giffords, we don't address the underlying causes of the event. That was so last news cycle...
