I never understood that. Like even by their own hazily outlined standards, what exactly do video game networks have to do with openness and transparency or whatever?

Lucky for me I guess that I don't do much gaming. Now if they take down Twitter, we gonna have business.

My incredibly hazy understanding of their rationale for attacking the PSN had to do with Sony removing (or phasing out?) some sort of open source framework they were originally running that turned out to allow for more modification that Sony was comfortable with.
