If you ever come to New York, RESIST THAT URGE.

There's some guy who dresses as Elmo in time square to get people to pay for pictures with him, but not only does the costume reek, he has a tendency to grab girl's butts as they walk by.

I was scared when I saw the large version of Elmo!!!

The last time I saw muppets that big was when my mom took me to see Sesame Street on Ice when I was like 7 or so? Big Bird spinning was the best. Oscar was boring. Boo.

I don't think I was ever a fan of elmo as a child (I think I was a Barney girl) but I love Elmo and I am 18 years old.

I support this initiative so much. My older brother is in Afghanistan and it is so stressful on my family. Though he only has to support his wife (thank god they don't have kids yet) my mother is constantly thinking about him. Thank God he will be home for like 2 weeks in a week.

Elmo appeared years after I stopped watching Sesame Street. When I was a tyke, I was a Grover and Cookie Monster fan.

I still like Grover and Cookie Monster.^^

yeah, I'm too old for Elmo to have any meaning to me, too.

But. ♥ Grover ♥

Exactly. How could you not like Grover? He's the Old Spice Monster. ;P

I absolutely adore this post, but I want to point out one thing:

That is not Telly. Telly is a magenta-sih color and doesn't have horns. That is a Honker. Get it right, DoD!
