Not sure Republicans' feedback is the best way to measure how good any administration is.

LOL, I know. I just thought it was funny that this is the one topic that they Republicans like to keep bringing up... instead of other things. ;)

Ignorant European here:

Is it really THAT important if he was born on American soil? His mother is American, right? So why wouldn't he be?

Per the US Constitution:

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

My reading comprehension MIGHT be at fail, but doesn't "OR a Citizen of the United States" mean that there's some kind of distinction to the "natural born"- part?

"or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution," go together, to my understanding.

HE. HAS. SHOWN. HIS. BIRTH. CERTIFICATE.

If the mothership can't have a "this bitch" tag, can we? I mean, if we promise to reserve its use just for birther assholes?

That's what I'm so confused about....

Why did no one bring up the fact that he DID show the birth certificate?

Because then they'd be admitting their argument is a piece of crap and have no pseudo-legitimacy to hang their racism on. He's shown the blasted thing multiple times, but either it's (a) fake or (b) not a REAL birth certificate because it says "Certificate of Live Birth" as far as they're concerned.

Remember, dear friend: you are trying to use sane logic here. These people do not acknowledge such arguments.

I meant on this program here. No one seemed to tell Donald that he'd already provided the document he's asking for.
