KAUFMAN: The crazy, give-a-handgun-to-a-schizophrenic bill.

Update: Alaska Republican congressman Don Young has signed an insurrectionist pledge written by Alaska militia organizer Schaeffer Cox that advocated for opposing our government in response to gun control laws. Watch this video:

Militia activist Schaeffer Cox and four associates who reportedly stockpiled weapons were arrested on Thursday for allegedly conspiring to kill multiple Alaska State Troopers and a federal judge.

These sovereign citizens are probably some of the scariest American extremists.

The US's gun laws in general are a major reason why I would never, ever live in the US (the other is the state of healthcare over there). Having worked retail for nearly seven years, I would not trust the general public with a sharp stick, let alone a lethal weapon.

Having said that, this:
REP. STEVE LUKAN (R): The Alaska bill - what’s the Alaska bill? [...]

KAUFMAN: The crazy, give-a-handgun-to-a-schizophrenic bill.

AIDE OFF CAMERA: His microphone is on.

[Microphone goes dead]

is hilarious. Bless.

:( I promise that not all of the US is like this (well, other than the healthcare). You get 7 Years in NYC for conceal-carry. One of the places with strict no-gun laws actually although its origin is shady.
