Feds look into Scott's nursing home ombudsman dismissal

The federal Administration on Aging will investigate the dismissal of Florida's top nursing-home watchdog, who left his post last month after what patient advocates say was illegal interference by Florida Gov. Rick Scott.

JFC. The big problem is that here in FL we have no ability to recall the Governor.

I really fear at the kind of havoc this guy is going to wreak on our state over the next FOUR YEARS. I'd be willing to bet that if he keeps on ticking off his own party, and continues to pull stunts like this one, he's could very well find himself impeached instead. (Oh, please.....oh, please.)

I'm just glad I have it on record that I voted for Alex Sink, thank you very much.

Because now I can tell all my conservative friends "I TOLD YOU I TOLD YOU why didn't you listen to me just because I'm liberal doesn't make me wrong!"

I find I told you so's just roll off republican's backs, unfortunately. Big fat I Told You So for electing W bush, but no....they insist everything a librul does is wrong.

As much as I disliked Jeb Bush and felt Charlie Crist didn't accomplish much, both always managed to roll over when the people of the state made their voices heard. But Scott does not care and that makes him dangerous.

I am very disappointed we can't just recall him (yet).
