It takes a lot of nerve to deny something you were filmed doing.

Riiiight?

They reported on this on GMA this morning and they were all acting surprised that a number of highly regarded people in the fashion industry were defending this douchebag.

I, for one, was shocked that famous people would defend the abhorrent actions of other famous people. I mean, we all know that Hollywood didn't support Polanski at all...

I especially love the people that are saying he's doing this to bring media attention to his work.

I'm pretty sure artists can think of non-Hitler-related schemes to bring attention to themselves.

Yeah. I remember that one time in college where I got high and was all like, "I should join the Hitler youth. I hates the Jews."

Oh. Wait.

Seriously. I have been plenty high or drunk in my day and never once did I start sprouting racist comments off at the mouth.

Bitch please.

Yeah, what being under the influence does is loosen a person's inhibitions and make them more likely to say what they are REALLY thinking and blurt out opinions/notions that they would keep to themselves under more sober circumstances, due to the realization that certain kinds of comments tend to get people in trouble. Hence the expression "in vino veritas."

He says that he completely denies the claims made against him, and that he has fully cooperated with the police investigation.

But he said Wednesday in a statement released by his lawyers that he accepts "that the accusations made against me have greatly shocked and upset people."

He says he "unreservedly" apologized.

Wait...what is he apologizing unreservedly for, then, if he is being falsely accused of something he didn't do?

Also, is there going to be a search for whomever hired an impostor to say Bad Things That He Wouldn't Say, and get it all on film? It's a conspiracy, innit?

...And whom does he think is behind the conspiracy against him?

My, this is exciting, indeed. So glad he clarified things.
