Dammit I'm an AmeriCorps member right now and I've been freaked out since Monday. The word is that we're gonna have a 'vacation' in March but they don't think we'll be completely defunded.

Way to work on creating jobs Republicans.

But, but... They cut funding for the evil Planned Parenthood and their free abortions! That's even better than jobs!

This is really scary. I just got an AmeriCorps job...and if I lose this, I don't know what I am going to do. All the benefits are so helpful to me right now. I think I might just cry...

accusing Republicans of writing the bill with a "double meat ax."

"double meat ax" sounds like some sort of terrible fast food sandwich targetted at MANLY men.

Hey, Republicans?

If you cut every member of Congress's salary by $74,000, you would save taxpayers $40 million a year.

I'm just saying.

Senate's fault! They killed the ' repeal the job killing' bill.

Anyway, it's just for show, so who cares what exactly did they vote on today? Might have easily been smth even crazier.

Well obviously when all the women are forced to have babies they didn't want, they'll have to stay home and quit their jobs so men can take them instead.
