I could imagine his acceptance speech if he won the election: Barrack Obama, you're fired!!

He left the GOP in 2000 to keep Pat Buchanan from getting the Reform Party nomination, so he's not a party member unless he returned, plus he has no political experience, though he's not a frothing right-winger. Obama will get re-elected, especially with a divided legislature, so the only noteworthy event of the 2012 election will be that the world hasn't ended yet.

I thought the same thing. And now I'm laughing.

I guess he was not as well acquainted with winning as he would like us to believe.

I've always liked him and he would pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan completely, along pulling the whole US military into the US, except for a few to guard embassies, but the GOP's special interests would ensure he would never get the nomination.

He'd also lose a lot of average Joes if he discussed stuff like fiat money and other Economics stuff that I love to talk about, but most people are ready to duct tape my mouth after ten minutes if I do bring it up.

I think that it's a bad idea, bc while for the most part I like him, he sounds soooooo batshit crazy when he talks. also, he's real old. I think there enough candidates out there that are similar to him but would actually have a chance of winning if they actually were able to get a nomination from the GOP (*cough Gary Johnson*)

Not in a million years.

Getting a bunch of his fanboys to swarm a convention is not the same as getting the majority of votes in the primary states.

If he couldn't win a single one like New Hampshire in 2008, there's no way he'll win in the even more conservative 2012 primary environment.

The last time a CPAC straw poll winner received the Republican nomination was in 2000, George W. Bush.

Ron Paul's farts have more integrity than George W. Bush, though.
