I'm not all that surprised, tbh. Protestants have for years defined the Co$ as a cult, but money talks a whooooole fuckin' lot.

Greta Van Susteren's being a Scilon is also unsurprising. Every one of them I've ever met that's still involved in the church are weird, raging douchebags.

IA. Also, the CoS generally courts the moneyed and neurotic by advertising themselves as a solution to people's worries - it's hard for the Protestant churches to beat that sort of get-rich-quick lure.
