Fox News bans Joan Rivers for saying Sarah Palin is "stupid and a threat."

Last weekend, TMZ interviewed Rivers at the Critics' Choice Awards. The interviewer asked her about her opinion of Sarah Palin. Rivers gave a candid and snarky appraisal of the half-term governor of Alaska, saying, among other things, that Palin was "stupid and a threat" and that she should be blamed for the shootings in Tucson.

In my Newswriting class we watched these two amazing Fox News videos where a reporter went to "grassroots" Pennsylvania during the election and asked a diner who was going to vote for Obama and who was going to vote for McCain. Two hands went up for McCain out of 20 or so people. The rest threw their hands up enthusiastically for Obama. The reporter then remarked "Well, it looks like voters are split evenly here between the two candidates." and you could hear people in the diner laughing at the reporter's stupidity.

It was the funniest video I think I've ever seen. The other video was a similar situation--where Fox was all "MCCAIN MCCAIN MCCAIN" and their "random polling group" was all "uhh no".

tl;dr Fox is full of shit but we all know that already.
