Egypt puzzled after string of Red Sea shark attacks

The body of a 70-year-old German woman washed up on the shore at Egypt's Sharm el-Sheikh on the Red Sea after an attack Sunday. Officials said the shark had taken a chunk out of her right thigh and bitten through her right elbow.

I'm not even going to touch the whole conspiracy thing...smh

I read an article in the "Spiegel online" ("Haiangriffe im Roten Meer") that said that according to eyewitness accounts people had been illegally dumping sheep cadavers and organic waste (leftover food from hotels) into the ocean near that point in the national park.

The sharks were probably lured to the coast by that *free buffet* offering... :( And when the tourists swam in the water that (to the sharks) smelled like food, tasted like food and the tourists behaved sort of like food, the sharks did what comes natural.

And also some boat tours drop meat when they go out into the sea so tourists could take pics of sharks.
