Except, their ad was "look, I chose to have my baby" (which, IIRC, was kind of stretching the truth anyway, given where they lived at the time) "but I don't think anyone else should have that CHOICE, unless they 'choose' to have the baby." Hence the precedent. Theirs was just more "socially acceptable".
I suppose I can see that, but there really wasn't anything political about the ad itself. It didn't mention abortion at all, just directed viewers to the website to "learn more about their story." I'm pretty sure that's why it was allowed, whereas something like this doesn't have a chance of being approved, precedent or no.

And that's what everyone wants to see during the fucking Super Bowl, aborted fetuses.
Also, fuck you, Mrs and Tim Tebow, for starting this bullshit in the first fucking place.
ETA: Where have I heard that "change hearts and minds" phrase before ... ? Oh right, Vietnam ... Iraq ... Afghanistan ....

Legal concerns aside, McGehee said the tactic seems to accomplish the activists' goal of sparking a debate.
"The shocking nature of it stimulates the discussion," she said.

Hey, maybe someone should put a porn clip in a political ad! Then they'd have to block both (hopeful).
Yeah, I know, they'd figure out a way to get it in anyway-bastards.
