Did somebody at CNN hint that they might want Keith if MSNBC fired him? Or did Zucker knock Griffin upside the head and say "You're an even bigger idiot than I am?"

I think something Lt. Dan Choi did and the 300,000 signatures of petitions to bring him back made them rethink it.

300k is a lot of viewers to MSNBC.

I'm very much in love with yours. "Richard takes a diplomatic approach VS the undiplomatic approach. Not so interesting."

YESSSSSSSSSSSS! This makes me indescribably happy. I <3 Keith.

who smells network cable television/ insider politics here?

Honestly, all I've ever smelled was a pissing contest. Griffin went overboard trying to assert his authority, then everyone on the Internet started collectively pissing on him, and he had to relent.

Someone needs to figure out what Griffin's political beliefs are and if it had any part in this.

I suspect it has less to do with Griffin's personal politics, and more with his efforts to please MSNBC's new owners, one of them being a big contributor to Bush.

And the fact that apparently there are personal issues between Griffin and Keith from what I've gathered in previous posts since this news came out?

In other news, what the heck did the Doctor and Rose do to make Keith mad in your icon?

Yeah, but Phil's also been Keith's biggest promoter, and has stated in the past 'he made the network'. So it makes me wonder.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think the Doctor may have insulted baseball.
