Col. Williams entitled to military pension

WOODBRIDGE, Ont. - A Conservative bill to strip federal prisoners of their old-age pensions would not deny Col. Russell Williams his military pension.

A lawyer for Williams has said the former CFB Trenton commander intends to plead guilty Monday to two murders, two sex assaults and scores of break and enters.

... how do you get convicted of something like that and NOT lose your pension?? If you get convicted of ANYTHING that drops you from a general under honorable conditions in the US military, you lose ALL your shit.

I think criminals should get their pensions. I can't think of a reason that isn't vindictive to prohibit them receiving their pensions, and that's not rational enough for me.
