In my defense, I only picked it for the lulzy picture.

"Having multiple sex partners may be an attempt to compensate for feelings of inadequacy"

Or maybe some people are JUST NOT WIRED FOR MONOGAMY.

True, although in that case there should not be a giant discrepancy between the working men and the stay-at-home men.

My first thought? I wondered if this study counted people who were in honest open, polygamous relationships as "cheats".

People do have some fucked up views. I once encountered someone who believes even consensual non-monogamy is cheating, because obviously "god" says we're all supposed to be monogamous?

The safety zone, apparently, is when women make 75 percent of what men earn, which sounds suspiciously like the national average of women’s salaries relative to men’s.

Gah! I hate the phrasing of "safety zone".

I don't have a problem with them conducting this study, and I don't fault the researchers for the results of the study. Those here doing that are not projecting their frustration at the right target.

The study isn't the problem...the society that produced these results is.

I will fault the NYTimes for using that tacky-ass picture, though. I went to the article to see if that was, indeed, the picture they used and YEP. Way to be trashy like the NY Post!

I posted it because of the pic oddly enough. I couldn't stop laughing at it!

It is hilarious...and a bit disturbing. I wonder if th Times actually created that image for this article.

I allow myself a sweet treat on the weekend.

I use gum or a piece of fruit as a snack to satisfy cravings. Oddly, it's starting to work.

Lies. Jesse Katsopolis never cheated on Becky. Clearly, this study is untrue.
