It’s another when Forbes magazine runs a cover story alleging that the president of the United States is deliberately trying to bring America down as part of his Kenyan, “anticolonialist” agenda, that “the U.S. is being ruled according to the dreams of a Luo tribesman of the 1950s.”

As a small business owner, STFU people in the top tax bracket. If you can figure out how to make you business THAT profitable, you can damn well figure out how to live within your means ( ... )

Yep, especially in a service type business where you don't have a great deal of non-cash expenses (depreciation, for instance).
I think the SS cap is the one single most unfair tax break. It should not exist, in my opinion.

Krugman has been on this subject in his blog for a while. In August, he posted the aptly named The Unbearable Pettiness Of Being Rich

Andrew Ross Sorkin’s column today makes Wall Street honchos sound like spoiled kids; they went for Obama because he seemed like their kind of guy, then turned on him with a vengeance because they think he’s looking at them funny.

Based on what I know, that’s about right.

That last paragraph got some interesting responses.

I don't think so. What else except intense feelings of inadequacy would make a person fight jealously for their third billion after earning the first two?

Unfortunately, a lot of people who have all the money in the world are ignorant about all life matters other than money, and assume they are superior because of their financial wealth. And ( ... )
