Asked where he comes down on the proposal to build a mosque and community center near the site of the World Trade Center attacks, Russ Feingold said it's tragic there isn't a proper memorial at the site

I know nothing about Feingold, so him saying this got him like a billion awesome points on my meter.

I am really lucky to have him as one of my Senators.

He's the only Senator to have voted against the Patriot Act, because he felt some provisions infringed on our civil liberties (DUH!). THE. ONLY. SENATOR. With that act alone, he cemented my vote for as long as he runs.

It's going to be a tough re-election for him though. I hope he pulls it out.
