About half of the July/August Mother Jones issue was devoted to gold scams. They stagger releasing them to web so not all the gold stuff is up yet. You can probably still find hardcopy on news stands or at your local library.

(and an annual subscription is just $10. Highly recommended if you want in depth investigative journalism. Lots of human rights stuff and things the fly under the radar of the big outlets)

I looooved it when Glenn Beck brought up Zimbabwe's inflation rate like anything that could potentially happen in the US.
